I just did the differential and transfer case oil change last week end. Thanks to the DIY post it was pretty easy, and i saved a few $$$.
My question is, is there supposed to be a magnet plug on the transfer case just like the rear differential.
The drain plug on the transfer case was the same as the fill plug, no magnet. Is this normal?

Thank you!

look at the threaded tip of the drain bolt - will be a small magnet thats embedded into the bolt. my bike has a small one just like that. it wont stick out its actually inside the bolt.
