When I first purchased this vehicle it was running horribly and required a lot of things to be replaced. I replaced MAF, Crankshaft Sensors, Coils, Plugs, Brakes, Tires, Fluids, and exhaust. Car is running great now except for one thing: 4WD.

Car works fine in 2WD, when shifting to AUTO or 4WD the 4WD Warning Light Illuminates. It doesn't seem to be able to shift back to 2WD when driving. I have run the diagnostic. Resulted with a solid 4WD then 5 flashes of the 4WD. If I am completing the diagnostic correctly it is referring to the relay/motor going bad. 175K on the Q. I have already changed transfer case fluid.
I found a few motors on Ebay for a good price, but after doing the fluid I took a good look at the motor and it doesn't look like a job I could do. Have read the FSM.

Does anyone know what the approximate completion time for a project like this would be? Gonna start getting quotes around town.

Dealer quoted me starting at $65 to get it hooked up to CONSULT-II and do a diagnosis. Good price?
