Word is that the 240SX trans yolk is the correct one for the CA.. HOWEVER i had the driveshaft shop put one on and it was wrong. Anyone have the exact model it comes from or even a part number. The one they put on the shaft is a 26 spline that would be the WRONG one...

ka shaft works. why? same exact transmission (different gear ratios, but interchangeable). I've run ca18det trannies, ka24de trannies with CA bellhousings, even had an sr20det transmission for awhile. I like breaking things :P someone else messed up at the driveshaft shop, a KA spline WILL fit fine.

its all GOOD Aaron... I will have them put a 24 spline on there. That should do the trick. Aaron we need to talk.. I got some new toy ideas for you.. How would CUSTOM intake manifold sound to you. Gawd I hate it when someone JACKS your thread even worse when you do it to yourself...

Give me an idea on what you would want for a throttle body and I will take it from there and figure it up. I would need to track down a CA plenum so that I can get the flange, But other than that it would be SWEET.. Like a GREEDY style for the SR....

RB, CA, SR, hell FJ all the same. The KA should be too unless perhaps it was an automatic driveshaft?

I use a Nissan R200 diff. The one Im building for my car now has a helical from an S15 in it. SO.. I just like building cool stuff..

I think the auto shaft is just too long, I don't think the splines are an issue.

though I have been wrong before.
