Trans swap ( Good shops)

I have 1995 nissan 240sx and I am looking forward to swapping the automatic to stick. I live in LA and I need to find a shop that can do the job for me. I went out to 5 shops the other day with no luck. Does anyone know of any good shops with a good rep that has at least done this kind of swap?

do it in your driveway, its like 3 bolts. lol.

nah get the dvd swap vid on here its not that hard and it will save you a lot of money. if thats not an issue, im sure a few phone calls in the local area can help you out, its not complicated.

I will tell that every shop in my area I asked told me they won't do it.

They all go on to much modification needed blah blah bs, you need a custom driveshaft, blah blah, we won't do it because we can't guarantee work like that.

So doing in your driveway with friends is the best bet of getting it done. If you know anyone who works in a shop that you can do it at, it would make it way faster.

Stop calling shops and start calling junkyards for donor cars or hit up the partout classifieds.
