trans problems help!!!!!!!

i had a brand new spec stage 2 cluch for my KA, i got it no more than 7 months ago and the disc seperated and i have a blown clutch now. im tryin to see what is a good replacement clutch to buy. my car is stock for the exception of a few bolt-ons. i dont want another spec clutch cause they suck. i just need some advice cause i dont have a car and i need some advice quick.

Get a stock early 70's 240z clutch. They are cheaper than a stock 240sx clutch and are much stronger. Not to mention they are a direct bolt on.

I have a spec stage 3 clutch on my car under boost @0.5bar for the last year... seems to hold up pretty well.

i dont think im going to get another spec clutch. your car is boosted and it holds pretty well my car is n/a and it blows in less than 7 months

Known problem on the SPEC Stage 2 clutches...the stage 3 and above don't seem to be plagued with that.

If it were me...I'd spend the $$$ on a lightweight flywheel and a stock clutch, rather than an upgraded clutch.

If you're planning on staying N/A, stock clucth will hold fine...and at least you get some HP out of the deal.

btw, what going to be the major differecne between having a stock clutch with a lightweight flywheel vs. a upgraded clucth with a lightweight flywheel?
