Trans problem.

I was driving to work witch is 20 miles and everything was fine till I got a few blocks away. I stopped at a sign and than went to go and it just started to rev as if I was in neutral. So I drifted off the the side and parked and turned it off for a few mins. Started it back up and got it in R than D and made it about a block with the speed I was able to get. Lost gear again so I repeted the step and got to work 3 blocks away. Let it sit for a few hrs and went out to take a look again. No leaks,trans fluid full pink not burnt.

Seems to catch the gear when I first start it up but than just randomly nothing happens. I hasn't having any problems before and shiftsbwere smooths even now with it acting up it still grabs smooth when i start it. Does make a whinding sound and toms jumped up to 2000rpms. Any idea what it could be ? Pump,filter?

It's a 93 2+2 auto.

Sounds like your valve body may have given out. My best recommendation, unfortunately, is to just go have it looked at by a reputable shop.

Either that, or auto transmissions can be had pretty cheap on ebay, if you wanna take that gamble......
