Trans. Problem....HELP

I have a 92 240(automatic), the trans would shift hard between 1st & 2nd. Any idea??

would changing the trans. fluid help??

if so how many quart do i need to buy??

it cant hurt to change the fluid. you will drain about 3 and a half quarts fromt he pan. Have about 5 handy though. I suspet you have a control problem. If the fluid change doesnt improve it check your TPS adjustment. If its out adjust it to spec and recheck.

so i am not at a point of where i need to rebuild rite??

I am thinking of gettint Redline ATF btw....

free revving while its in gear. The revs will go up but the car wont move.
