TRANS NOT SHIFTING INTO 4TH GEAR
WHAT WOULD CAUSE MY 93 Q45 TO NOT SHIFT INTO 4TH GEAR? COULD IT BE A BAD SPEED SENSOR OR DO YOU THINK I HAVE SOME GUNK BUILD UP IN THE transmission AND NEED TO FLUSH IT. SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT?

Follow the dignostic proceedure in FSM to activate on board display to AT check mode.
1st and 4 th gear require that Solenoid A cycle on...........does 1st gear work?
Have a dealer use Consult to check for transmission codes and drive proceedure.

1st through 3rd works fine so do you have any ideas why it wont shift into 4th? i get up to around 75mph and it doesn't go into 4

What happens when you select 3 gear position at 75 mph............checking to make sure the selector vs under car gear switches are aligned correctly.
