trans gear ratios

is there a way to find out gear ratios for our manual trans? specifically the type that bolts behind a vg30 or ka in a 240sx. i'm looking to improve the 2-3 gap on my 300zx trans and wouldnt mind a taller 1st gear. i've heard the trannys are the same for both cars and just the bell housing is different but ive never confirmed this. any help appreciated.

The nissan manual trans does not have a true bell housing. It is the front case half of the trans it is actually the case that holds most of the trans components. gear ratios are listed in the factory service manual.
