trans fliud recomendation 02 q45?
anyone can recomend trans fluid for 02 q45? i just got this 1mo. ago. love the car!

The newer 5AT uses a different viscosity and stick/slip ATF to better prolong the life of the new 2 stage lockup clutch. Dexron 111a-g are not compatable.

found castrol synthetic that says it is compatible, is it tru or should i buy from dealer.

Buy from Joe if he can ship. Use of any other fluid will invalidate your warranty.

1. you have nissan type J fluid in your re5r05a transmission.
2. castrol does make a type J fluid. didn't know it was synthetic. i sold my g35 with same trans after only 1 drain and fill with genine nissan j fluid. at the time i couldnot locally source the castrol j.
