trans. ecu, tcu calibration

I installed a used trans. on my 95 q45. I was wondering if there is a tcu or ecu calibration that needs to be or can be done. a friend i bought the car from said it didn't take much throttle to power brake the car and spin the tires.Now after installing this trans, I have a hard time doing this.

If that is how you friend treated the car, you should not have bought it.

Certainly explains why you needed to replace the transmission.

Your first problem is "used"! Maybe the trans you put in is junk.need more info.

TCU software is designed to function on a new to in warranty transmission.

Really only tells transmission when to shift/downshift................the performance of transmission is set by transmission internals.......mechanicals

If you wanted to spin the tires should have put in high stall tc!kids and Q45 don't mix! Oh wait, someone said that!!!!!!!
