Hi thereI have a 1992 240SX SE. It is automatic and the transmission won't shift until you hit 6000RPM. We have changed the Speed/revolution sensor then we were advised to change the entire transmission sooooooo, We did and we still have the problem. I was told there is a computer specifically for the transmission?? Is this true and if so where is it located in the car? What years are sompatible with my 92?ThanksJess From NH

Welcome to NICo and it's called a TCM. Stands for Transmission Control Module. You might be able to find one relatively cheap in our classified section from one of the guys that are parting out their cars.
