ive got the sr and transmission into my 92 240, new nismo motor/transmission mounts, the engine mounts are lined up, the engine looks like its sitting a little high, but i cant get the transmission mount to line upwith the transmission bracket, i tried mounting the bracket to the mount, but then the bracket wont line up, and the driveshaft wont line up, i dropped the transmission a little, put a jack under the driveshaft, and got it toghether, but the transmission bracket still will not line up right, any ideas?thanks

try to loosen your motor mounts and your transmission mount then try and shift it... i have had that problem with the KA transmission many times... with the mounts loose i was able to shift it into place, have a jack on the transmission it can help with the shifting.

oh yes... and make shure your mounts a lined up on the motor, it should have like a dow on the mount that should line up, so make shure that is in alignment.

all the mounts are loose, except where they are attached to the motor. im using two jacks, one under the transmission and one under the driveshaft, the driveshaft is butted up against the undercarage and wont move any farther. the transmission needs to shift toward the front of the car to bol in either of the drivers side bolts on the transmission bracket. noting is moving right now, unless i want to disconnect it all..............

which crossmember(rear) are you using? did it come with the motor or is it the stock one? is it for m/t or a/t. the m/t has a different crossmember than the a/t and the sr is slightly different than ka(but usable).
