transmission wont go in gear

my sr20 transmission wont go in gear. if car is off i can put it in first to 5th , but if i start car and try to put in gear it wont and rpms will go low. here this i put my car on a lift started it and its fine goes in to a gear fine. also when i start my car now i can hear a bad noise from my starter. hwat do u guys think any info is appreshated .thanks jon

Hows your slave and master cylinder working???I would check both first and try to re bleed the system..

checked the slave and the master both fine. i also bleed the system still fine . its just weird car off will go in gearcar on will not go in gear car on up in the air on lift will go in gear any info is appreshed

Did you break the pivot fork.

the whole on off lift thing shoudn't do jack ****.tell me what lifting and leaving the car on the ground has anything to do witht the transmission.

so your saying on the ground the transmission wont go into first with the clutch fully engauged? but it will in the air??? that makes no sense.

if you say your clutch and master is ok( let me know how you know that)?could be you transmission snout that you t.o. bearing slides on is bad. and the fork, common how ofter is a steel fork going to go bad other than another piece of the transmission

i know it makes no sense that on the air with car on it will go in gear , but on the ground with car on it wont go in gear . who know what it is .

i was thinking maybe the shifter is connected all the way cause it feels like their is some play in it ??

guys transmission isnt down but it looks like clutch dic is shot . only used for 3 weeks . my tech took off the boot on the transmission and metalic dust from clutch was puring out
