transmission will not engage !!!

posted in the 240 and silvia forum as well , but i figured a second postin wouldn't hurt, but major help needed, was just normally driving, and came to a stop, went to slide it into 1st and it would not engage, clutch was on the floor board, nothing was happening !!!! Same with all the gears, except i could grab the shifter and force it into gear, but the weird thing was i tried to put it into reverse and it engaged hard, like the clutch barely released ??!!! when i get it home i guess i need to check the clutch fluid by the transmission, cause the one up at the fire wall was clear full !!

I don't know what the hell is going on, and i have only had the car since the 16th, last friday !!!! all mighty grurus i need help asap !!!

try pumping up the clutch and getting it to go into gear. slave cylinder might have crapped out, did this happen all of a sudden?

yea just driving along came to a stop and bam, would not go into gear, did it to me about 4 days after, but has been cherry since ?!! probably gonna replace the slave cylinder and hose, drain and put in some stellar gear oil in the transmission and rear end
