major help needed, was just normally driving, and came to a stop, went to slide it into 1st and it would not engage, clutch was on the floor board, nothing was happening !!!! Same with all the gears, except i could grab the shifter and force it into gear, but the weird thing was i tried to put it into reverse and it engaged hard, like the clutch barely released ??!!! when i get it home i guess i need to check the clutch fluid by the transmission, cause the one up at the fire wall was clear full !!

I don't know what the hell is going on, and i have only had the car since the 16th, last friday !!!! all mighty grurus i need help asap !!!

your clutch might be bad. Usually when you have difficult engaging in gears or you can't engage at all all leads to problem with the clutch.

Do you know when the clutch was replaced in your car?

I would check the trans fluid level. It may not be a bad idea to change the fluid. Does the trans leak any fluid? Hows the condition of the slave cylinder?

about 4 months ago for clutch replacement, didn't get a chance to check transmission fluid, didn't check slave cylinder fluid level, car just started running like a champ again, could shift with 2 fingers on the shifter, and tippy toes on the clutch, with very little pressure applied.

So i am like WTF was it all about ? my friend changed the clutch master cylinder about 6-7 months ago, and bleed it out, i thought there might be a **** hair size air bubble in the line, but i thought it would have effected it sooner, as far as shifting goes. maybe the slave cylinder *never been changed*, no it doesn't leak fluid,

dunno gonna wait till the weekend, and take it to my friends shop, drain the transmission fluid and put in 75W-90 Pure syn Valvoline gear oil, gonna check the rear diff as well, just to CMA, cover my a$$ ,
