What do I need to do in terms of my tranny for a 550hp+ application?

Buy a grex dog box. Here in Japan they run about 5-8k depending on what options you want. If you want about 450ps You can do what i've done. If you could get ahold of a skyline gts-t transmission and put the forward SR bellhousing on it. It is a direct bolt up. Took me about 30 minutes to do. Destin

Not for sure on the exact years but it's all R32 gts-t's. 89'-96' I think. Also I think you can use the R32 gtr tranny's as long as you take out the awd nonsense. I know for sure the R32 gts-t's will work though. The drive shaft input, clutch, length, and shifters are all the same. Alot of times in magazines you'll see clutches and shifters listed under sr20det and rb20det. Destin

I heard about a Cryo treatment? for the tranny i think runs about 1000 dollars and virtualy makes the tranny indistructable. Well thats what I heard.
