transmission swapping

question - can a transmission from a ka24 bolt up to a r20de?

what i'm thinking is that if it can, and the trannys that bolt to a ka24 will bolt to a z24 (truck motor), than in thoery i should be able to put a r20de (turbo or non) into my 85 nissan 4x4. barring all wiring issues( got that handled) i can't see why i couldn't put one of these very tunable motors in my very underpowered truck.
