transmission Swap

I have a '95 WD21 Pathy 4wd auto VG30 3.0L and the transmission took a dive on me. I have read that the transmissions from a VG33 3.3L will work too. I am fairly confident the 2000-2002 Xterra & Frontier will bolt up & have simular electronics, but what about the 2003-04 Xterra(with or without superchargers) or 96-99 Pathfinders do the same. I haven't found any definitive answers, also is there any differences in strength of the different year/models?

I'm not sure whether 2003-2004 Xterra transmissions will work. People have swapped in 01-02 Xterras with great success; these are what you should look for since they are the "HD" variants of the RE4R01A transmissions and have the same bellhousing as your current transmission.
