Questions about a s13 transmission swap. is it possible?

So basically I'm just tryna Frankenstein some more s*** together. So I was wonderin if anyone on here has ever tried to match Fs5r30a out of a z32 to a KA on an s13. Got the idea last night cause my friend is lettin one go and I know they have a little bit more robust gear setting, I think itd be kewl. Just no idea if it would work or what it would entail really. It be much appreciated

The only frankensteining of Z32 transmissions I know of is from Wes over in the Q45 section of this forum. He makes adapter plates so you can convert your Q45 to a 5 speed.

Yea my roommate has a z31 and he just picked up one that's why I wonder if it is possible to mount to my KA somehow. Cause with his he said he has to use like a maxima or an Altima flywheel or something like that. Idk. I just think id be kewl if its possible. I'm really just wonderin what it would entail

Seems like a hell of a lot of work for something that will get you no benefit whatsoever.

If you're sitting around twiddling your thumbs, maybe think about starting up a business to replace/retrofit people's HVAC controls with new lights or LEDs.

Not really much better gearing in FS. Cause if I coulda thrown it together, I would have. I wont be staying with the KA set up forever regardless, but woulda been kewl for now.
