I just bought a S13 manual transmission that I was planning on swapping my auto for. My car is a S14. (95) Now I'm reading that the transmission wont work in my car because of the CAS, but then I keep seeing people talking about how they've already done it. whats the deal?

Will work without the CAS BUT will throw a code.The S14 CAS is only for OBDII compliance and not needed for ECU operations.As for the transmission fitting, all 240sx trannies are interchangeable

Drill a hole on the top of the transmission and put the sensor there.
