transmission removal

alright im workin on my sohc-dohc swap and i got the single slammer pulled with motor and transmission, now the transmission want come off the motor...i got every bolt and i do know that becuase i can spin the transmission completely around...me and my friends pulled as hard as we could and it want budge...the transmission will seperate about 2-3 inches for the block and will spin around freely...ive run out of ideas any help would be appreciated. thanks

just keeping wiggling! lol take a pry bar to it.. be sure to not damage anything.. and just keep pulling and tugging

idk man it seems like its caught up on something. i mean i wiggled like hell pulled... same thing happened to my friends...he said he cracked a hole in the bellhousing and unbolted the pressure plate bolts to get off..he said he pryed for hours with like 3 people.

If the whole motor/transmission assembly is out of the car, you need to lift the rear of the transmission as you pull it off. The weight of the transmission iteself is causing it to not come off straight.

nah everythings good now....im a loser ...my mom pryed it off for me...it was hung up on something i just lifted it off the ground with the hoist with the motor and took a prybar and then i held it while the madre finished off...glad it finnaly came off... thanks for the help guys but yeah i'll prolly be back for little bits of info on my sohc>dohc swap.. lol
