transmission removal question

how in the hell are you suppose to get the four upper bolts out??

if you have power tools get back near the center carier bearing and use a long extension a a universal wobly. you can get them from there.

if you have hand tools try from top or just accpet 20 little cuts.

loosen the motor mounts and tip the engine back (my dad and I use an engine hoist and pull up on the engine). You can get a socket on it like this.

sdtouge you have to realize the S13 has soo much more room under their to work with than an s14. what i did is just got my good ol' 14mm wrench and somehow managed to get my hand between the engine and firewall and my hand did not come out until the bolt was out. if you can, use a universal joint in addition to an extension with the 14 to break it loose then work it with the wrench.... By the way you dont have to put them back as long as you have all the others then you should be fine.... Thats how i did it.

Using a socket was a real pain in the butt, so I just used a regular wrench.

i did this too about the same way as (Gnarkiller). it was a b**ch for sure. getting it back in REAL fun for me.
