transmission rebuild kit question?

I am going to rebuild a transmission. I have seen the write up on it. I found this kit http://www.drivetrain.com/manu...1.htm I have searched and this is the only kit i have seen not counting the other one they sell with less parts. Has anyone rebuilt their transmission?

I am looking for some direction on if i should replace anything else in the transmission? any other kits?Any help would be great.

replace all bearings check for wear on shafts and gears as well ... you know that wine you hear in reverse you can fix that with new reverse gears and check if the syncros and hubs are good.... i would replace any springs and when you drain the fluid look for any flakes or glitter if its silver its either gears bearings or something along those lines and if its a gold ... replace blocking rings

and i would recomend a new clutch too... resurface flywheel new clutch disc and pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearings.......
