transmission questions

So i wanna do a 5 speed swap and a friend of mine has a 5 speed out of an s13 sr20. Question is can this transmission be installed in my 240 with a ka-t? Anyone with some info let me know. Email is [email protected]

Well first off you should have used the wonderful search option. The SR transmission will not fit into the KA motor, because the input shaft on the SR is a tiny bit bigger than the KA's.

Is that why my sr clutch acts up now and then in my KA? (crap)E-bay guy sent me a sr clutch that was listed as ka. Found out after install but it works.

If the input shaft dia is the only thing stoping it. Just use the sr clutch, the only thing that touches the shaft is the clutch disk so it might work.
