transmission question?

ok so i bought a motor out of a 89 s13 which had a ka24de swp into it. my question is how can you tell the differnece in a s13 trany and s14 transmission? kinda curious wanna find out before it goes into truck.. thanks

The s14 transmission's will usually have a hole in the bell houseing for a CAS sensor. The s13 transmission will not.
