transmission question

Im looking for a 5 spd transmission, to do my 5 spd swap, and i know where i can get a SOHC transmission, but, will it fit on to my DOHC?

PS. i did search, but the most helpful thread was this zerothread/324091

and thats sort of the opposite, so id just like to be sure that a SOHC transmission will fit a DOHC before i go out and spend the money.
