Uh, yeah. The single cam transmission will physically mount to a KA24DE without problems. Thats what you were asking, right?

the trannies may mount up the same, but they are not identical. There is an extra plug in for the ka24de transmission that the ka24e's doesn't have. i would get what you got to avoid any possible issues if i were you. i went through this myself when locating myself a new used transmission. I work at an auto parts store and checked alot. i can't remember exactly what the extra plug did but the transmission numbers were definitely not the same. you can get the transmission you need out of alot of the nissan trucks with the same engine. keep that in mind.

BUT 1hotsivlia is correct. The plug, if I remember right, is the crank sensor?!?

the crank angle sensor is on the S14 transmission so no

the only reason why i'm even chiming in because i was wondering something myself. I just put an s14 transmission in my s13, adn one plug from the s13 harness is unused, what was that plug for?

The transmissions mount perfectly from a DE to me E. The transmission came from a S13 DE though.....

as long as i'm jacking this thread....

the plug that goes unplugged when putting an S14 transmission in an S13 is the fourth gear sensor. does anything happen from not plugging this in? i think i had a speedo in fourth, i cant drive it too much yet, its not insured again, but i cant imagine anything else going down
