transmission question

will a sohc transmission work on a dohc motor? im not using the sohc clutch or flywheel i just need to use the transmission itself and the wire harness.. just need to know if it will work. thanks

transmission's are the same.Harness though I can't answer.Trying using search button.

the trannys are the same through 89-94 i dont know about the wiring harness through
