tranny question for a 240 v8 swap

ive got a built 350sbc what kinda tranny would you choose if i want to stay with a manual??? i wanna stay away from truck trannys tho just for to low of gears that i wont need the torque ive already got pleanty of that

T56 six speed. out of the 92+ vettes and 95? + camaro's firebirds. that should bolt up to your motor.or you could look into a T5 setup i believe people run those as well. or how about a muncie 4spd? LOL.

all depends if you want a 5 or 6spd.

it doesnt really matter a 5 or 6 speed, i just want something that i can bolt up pretty easily and i can find pretty cheap, because im using my grant money from college on my car so im on a budget, i was jw, what do you think you would use??
