Any weird noises?

Did you rev it after in gear?

Do the front wheels want to spin?

Input shaft is broken and just spinning is my first guess

That's what mine is doing, only it's been a gradual thing that gets worse every time I drive....as in, it's obviously the clutch wearing out.

If you want to be sure, drop the trans out and pull the clutch off and have a look at it.This is also how you'd check the trans shaft, so that's the best place to start.

your first guess is the input shaft?! good lord man haha

check your hydraulics first, make sure the fluid is full. then check if the fork is moving with your pedal.

if all that checks out you will have to pull the transmission and take a look

Bleeding the clutch line would be a good and simple thing to check first, true.

I just wonder, what's the odds of it suddenly getting air (or something else) in the line?

I guess it'd be good to know: Did this just suddenly start happening, or have you been working on it at all?

pull the transmission take a look at the clutch/disk. see if the input shaft is broken going into the transmission.
