transmission prob

I have a 92 Skyline GTS. It feels like the transmission starts to miss the conection after it gets warmed up. after stoping at a light, it has trouble getting back up. it revs high, then the power hits the tires really late. What is the problem?

check your trans fluid level and its condition. your trans is obviously not down shifting properly when coming to a stop. as you did not mention it was slipping any other time but from take off after stopping. this could be a revolution sensor or control unit problem or an internal valving problem in the trans. Get a line pressure test done on the trans. you will likely need to supply the shop doing the test with the service manual precedures since that car was not produced here in the US there will be no info available aftermarket or otherwise.
