transmission or clutch problem

i got a 92 dohc engine in my 89 sohc 240sx but still have the 89 transmission..my 89 clutch keep burning out like 3 times after changing it and now i'd put in the 92 clutch and pressure plate set and it worked fine..until after i let the car run for a while the car dont wanna move in high rpm but if i let it rest for half an hour it would run fine again and i wanna kno what the problem is because i put alot of money in this fine michine ...HELP PLEASE Thanx

it kinda sounds like you keep installing the friction plate backwards
