transmission NOT SHIFTING INTO OD

i bought a 89 240sx hb off a guy and he was messing with the gauge lights that were not working and touched something now the cars not going into OD plz he pplthanx dustin

my trans is not going into overdrive the rev fuse was blown i changed it and it shifts into OD now, but the speedomiter is not working

Vehicle speed sensor probably went bad or you accidentally bumped/disconnected it some how.

were is the speed sensor located at

Last sensor at the rear of the transmission. Seeing how yours is an auto it should have a pink gear. You need to replace with another auto speed sensor.
