transmission not shifting after 2nd, o/d light flashing?

Ok I drive a 1995 Nissan 240sx SE with a KA24de. It has 155,xxx miles on it. Today I used engine degreaser and wash out my engine bay not with full pressure, enough to clean the motor off.

At start up the O/D light flashes 16 times. Not too sure what thats about. And on top of that the car shifts from 1st to 2nd at like 5k rpms. And after that it doesn't shift after.Check engine light is on now. So if anyone help me out thanks.

I've already searched and still couldn't find my answers.

Water in sensors that would eventually dry out?any suggestions?
