I replaced a RE4R01A transmission. The old Model # is 45X06Same thing on the replacement...however the transmission numbers are way differentie old = 016931 new one 8X0#####does the 8X mean a different model?Another question...If the replacement came out of a KA24DE and the old was a KA24E, What sensor or solonoids need changing?

im not sure the meaning of your different numbers. i will say you should be good for the swap other than changing the bellhousings. if its a later car you may have to swap sensors but i would not expect that.

on a 89 or 90 s13 the transmission has nothing to do with spark.
