transmission length question

i put a 96 ka into my 90 s13. the driveshaft doesnt go into the transmission all the way. so what drive shaft do i need to get to fix this? ive heard of a few other people having the same problem, i just never heard how to fix it. thanks.

i jsut put a 96 transmission into a 93, same driveshaft issue. you can see about, maybe a quarter to a half inch of driveshaft.

the only thing that was ever said about it is, maybe you'll leak a lilttle fluid....

which im not entirely comfortable with, but i havent heard of any fix, and i never got my 96 driveshaft to see either

i can see more of the driveshaft, like at least an inch. im wondering if just the front half would work or would u need the whole thing. also anyone know is s13 and s14 driveshafts are interchangable? can some one get some lenghts?
