if you pull the driveshaft out w/o draining the gear oil first it will pour out from the driveshaft yoke .RBSilvia wrote:so i'm prepping my transmission today to bolt it up to my engine and finally get everything mounted up in the car....and i notice that when i tip the transmission back (shifter lower than bellhousing), oil would leak out through the driveshaft hole.
I'm wondering if this is normal....i'm thinking its not.
Also, when i drained the oil there wasn't much in there, most likely due to it spilling out the back.
What needs to be replaced to fix this, and how hard is it?
