transmission issue

Hi guys

Car shifts fine once warmed up around town but is doing something strange at highway speed. When you get the car up to 60 or above on the interstate,it kicks into overdrive. Every time you lift off the gas at highway speed and then get back on the gas, it has to shift back into OD.

This leads me to believe that everytime you get off the gas, it is shifting out of OD and then once the accelerator is pressed again, it is shifting back into it.

Is this normal? When it does shift back into OD,it does so slowly and feels like it is slipping into the final gear. This takes place weither getting back on the gas slowly or aggresivly?



Any help would be greatly appreaited.

i lind of having the same problem, someone told it was the revolution sensor on the transmission. i could be wrong.
