transmission ignition solenoid safety switch?

Is there an ignition solenoid safety switch on the shifter? My q45 is now not starting unles i jiggle the shifter in park. If so...is it easy to replace?Thks in advance

Yes, as easy is relative, but you may have problems in the shift assembly.....use FSM to diagnose.

Have you ever played with the linkage underneath?

I found mine had been adjusted and had the same problem you have.

FSM shows adjustment procedure. Helpful to have 2 people and/or a lift.
