transmission harness

I have my motor out right now and i want to make my wiring as simple as possible and look as clean as possible, i have my reverse lights on a switch and my speedo doesnt work, does the neutral safety switch actually do anything or can i just ditch the transmission harness all together.

Aslong as you connect the wires on the clutch pedal switch so your car will start I don't see why you would need the transmission part of the lower harness there (not 100% on s13 wiring but in theory there should be no issue). Why not jut fix your speedo tho? if you are working on making the car better add that to the list.

Its a track only competition drift car I really dont need a spedo haha
