transmission flush device

Anyone ever made their own home made flush devcie?, I have some ideas in mind using the two transmission lines going to the radiator on my 93 J30.Any ideas would be welcome.Terry

I tried this once... the pump only pushs fluid, it doesn't pull... Sort of foiled my plan of using a 5 gallon bucket full of fluid with a hose coming out of the bottom feeding the input, and another bucket to catch the output. You really need the dual baffle system like the professional systems use - but I'm sure it can be done DIY somehow. I just lost motivation vs. having it done for $60 labor only when I supply my own mobil 1. Keep us posted on the progress though!

Yeah..... Id be interested to see what you come up with....

Maybe you could use an old fuel pump to force the fluid in there??

I think the concern about using anything to pump fluid in is that you don't want to really force it back in there... the beauty of the BG and other systems is that it uses the transmission pump's pressure, so it's really nothing different than normal operation - except of course that fresh new fluid comes back.
