Aren't you supposed to check the transmission fluid via dipstick on a warm engine?

Was the ground level when you drained it? Did you change the filter, too?

Generally, just draining won't get ALL the fluid out.

Did you measure the amount removed?

Yeap i made sure the car was level during the drain and refill. However I didnt change the filter... wherever that may be i was not aware of it. I drained roughly 4 quarts and replaced with about the same hence the full reading I currently have.

My history with another Nissan (Infiniti Q45) required you to drain (~4 quarts), fill, allow to idle for 2-3 miuntes, repeat. If you do this about 3 maybe 4 times, you should ahve completely exchanged most of the fluid. The only real way is to take it to a shop and have them flush/refill. This should cost about $120 or more. You want a full "mechanical exchange", not a "$69 flush".
