I was wandering around this great forum and came across a thread in the M series section. I read a comment regarding how the transmission shifts and that it is intelligent in the respect that it learns the driving habits of the driver. Is this true for the G as well? I purchased mine as a lease turn in and I am wondering if I should reset my ECU to learn my habits. My interface tells me I am getting 22.3 mpg and I have not reset my meter in months. This is a mixture of congested city driving, interstate, and highway.

What would you recommend?

Yes, it will somewhat learn your driving style. It should continuously adjust but if you want to reset the ECU that should be fine.

Yep... definitely reset. It's easy to do without disconnecting your battery.
