Hey there I have a 1990 ka24e 5spd 240sx with an rb20det dropped in and ready to go. Problem is the transmission will not line up with the 240sx trans crossmember, it's off by maybe 1 inch. I might just fab a mount at a local shop, or if someone knows which mount is needed let me know... I have an r32 x-member w/ skyline motor mounts. This is all I need to finish this thing. Any help will be appreciated. I have also searched, I've searched throughout my whole build, but I have not found a solution to this. Thanks

you need to modify the 240 one by extending it

check your engine mounts and make sure they are on right, if your using top hat, or jgy mounts. because i put them on wrong and my transmission was off by a lil bit too

My car is originally a 5 spd, could I buy a auto crossmember for the transmission at the local j-yard, and mount the transmission that way. Or does my car have to be an original automatic?

you should be able to pick one up at the junk yard for and auto. I had the same thing happen to one of the swaps I did using the r32 engine crossmember. Check under your right vent to see if you have something that says O/D on. If it does it used to be an auto. Another thing people do is not wire in the neutral safety switch to the pedal.. can you turn on the car without having to turn on the clutch?

My car was an original 5 spd, it was a single owner car. It's been manual all it's life...Well just to close this thread. I found a automatic crossmember at a local junkyard and it almost fit. I grinded the parts that didnt line up and that was it...done! Thanks for all the help!
