transmission Crossmember

I was wondering if the KA24 5pd transmission xmember will fit the CA18 transmission? I'm having the hardest time bolting it on.

it should... considering how the transmissions only differ by bellhousings..

That is what I thought.. This is really strange. I'll just spend more time trying to position / bolting it on better. At least I know now that it's not the wrong piece. Thanks a bunch

Ok, I just removed my auto xmember from my KA and compared it to the "5speed" xmember from the person whom I bought it from, and they look identical...

anyone have one for sale? need asap. will be extra.

I had trouble with mine as well. I had a KA Xmemeber and the CA Xmember that came w/my front cut and neither one worked well. I ended up having to use an oxy-acetylne torch and enlarging 2 of the holes.
