Car: 1993 nissan 240sx se and 2002 infinity i35

Help! ibought a 240sx two days ago and the guy put a short shift kit in it and it chatters like mad it is driving me crazy. do all short shiftes chatter or is the guy who put it in a jackass and if he is a jackass how do i fix the problem.

check to see if the white bushing is between the ball on the shifter and the bottom metal spacer, or the retainer need checking or tightening

well i looked and it has both bushings it doesnt chatter when it is in nuetral just when im in gear and hit over 4000 rpms
