transmission and rear diff fluid questions

Ok I have seen the recommendations for the transmission fluid, but has anyone tried BG Synchroshift in the trans? If so how did you like it? I use it in my supra and it works great.

Now for the rear diff is anyone using redline's heavyweight shock proof fluid? I'm wondering if it will be safe to use in my 04 base model.

if you car is a base it's got an open diff, in whic case just about any fluid will work fine, actually the VLSD's are sealed so they aren't particular either
