What is a good gear oil to use for a 91 240sx manual transmission and differential. I will be changing it soon and was just wondering what you guys recommend, and perhaps where to get it for the cheapest.

Thanks

Redline Synthetic is pretty good. Can be purchased from Myoilshop.com.

need to purchase 3 quarts for transmission and 2 quarts for your diffy.

For regular use daily driven 240's, MT-90 for Tranny75W-90 for Diffy$7.00 per quart

Hope that helps you. There are other great brands like Royal Purple, Amsoil. Whatever floats your boat.

I've heard nothing but good things about royal purple. I haven't used it yet though.

I'm currently using royal purple for transmission & diff. When it's cold, it's kinda sloppy shifting into 2nd right after start up, dunno if it's even the oil though. Overall I was satisfied with the purchase, tasted like grape kool-aid too
