transmission and Coolant Drain and Fill?

Greetings,

Is a transmission and coolant drain and fill really necessary at 30K miles for a 2005 Pathfinder? I was thinking around 60K miles. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

depends on what the fluid looks like. after 15k in my new transmission the fluid was still normal so i added some wynns transmission treatment. it replaces all the crap that usually gets burnt up in the trans fluid.
